Size and Quality
Images should be larger than 60 x 60 px but no larger than 800 px wide by 600 px high. Acceptable file formats include GIF, JPG, JPEG (Mac), PNG, EPS, PS, and PSD. For best results, may I suggest JPG format with a relatively high compression rate for photographs. Files will be opened on a PC for consideration, so please save files in PC format if using a Mac or a Linux box.

I'm open to publishing visual art of just about any type, so long as it is of professional quality and says something interesting in a new way. Cartoons and line drawings are especially welcome here. I'm not interested in presenting pornographic images. Any porn sent will be immediately deleted and the sender's email address blocked.

Original works only. I'm willing to consider simultaneous submissions, but please indicate on your submission form that it is a simultaneous submission. Do not send executable files, as they will not be opened.

Copyright Considerations
Contributors retain copyright over their works after publication. The only form of payment I can afford is the knowledge that your work is good enough to be here and that occasionally web surfers will take in and appreciate your work.

Other Stuff
I will only post material sent from contributors with a working e-mail address. I will post that address using Javascript however, so that automated web crawlers cannot grab your email address and use it for spam. If you have a compelling reason to not post a link to your e-mail address, please let me know, and I'll consider it. Submission to moocat.net is tantamount to permission to web-publish your material and to have it reside on this site for as long as the site exists.
