![]() You can jump to your feet bend backward turn around and kiss heaven. You can take your finger and pull it out your ear. Shake it from your hair. Like Rabbi Shem Tov, you can fiddle with it in your shoelaces. Wolf it down in a tortilla. Feel free to coax it from a rock. (But remember Rumi: the coaxing is heaven) Sometimes, you’ll scrape it off the bottom of your shoe and nose it for a second. I’ve also found heaven in my own raspy voice off-key through the Shema, every Friday, at temple. David Grayson
