Dave's Corner |

I published my first cartoon in the summer of 1983, in my university newspaper, The Daily Reveille. It was pretty bad. That first summer allowed me to begin my growth as a cartoonist to the point that, by my final semester of college, I was allowed to publish not only editorial cartoons, but strip cartoons. I hungrily lunged at the opportunity, producing not one, but three different strip cartoons during that fall semester of 1984. Dave's Corner is the first of those three stripsa single-panel, off-beat affair that gained much notariety and garnered multiple national and international awards... on the planet that lives in my mind.... David Saia
David Saia's cartoons have appeared primarily in LSU's The Daily Reveille and also as cover art for the Cajuns on Fire comedy tape and the Radio X 16-Yr. Reunion CD.
