The Louisiana Cajuns |
![]() 1986-87, David Saia & Maurice Martin |
|
In 1985 the Louisiana State Government did not fund a group of intrepid historians intent upon bringing new insight into the trials and triumphs of a people long marginalized by the fact that they live on the margins of the U.S. landmass, culture, S.A.T. scores, and nutritional guidelines. These brilliant scholars assembled a crack team of historical thespians and did not employ advanced, historically accurate recording techniques to produce these highly prized tapes documenting the entire history of Acajuniana. Here, for the first time, freely available on the Internet are those treasured, non-Pulitzer-winning radio play (~20 mins. total). If you would like to contribute to the Cajun Historical Society, please do not send checks or money orders to the address not listed below. Maurice Martin & David Saia >>> Got feedback on this page?
