Photography: Taiwan in Black & White

John Freeman has taught digital photography at the university level in his home country of South Africa. He is currently living and working in Taiwan.

John has always impressed me with his gung ho approach to living and his deep appreciation for the physicality of human existence.

In addition to English, John speaks Afrikaans and some kind of clicking and popping pygmi language.

John is currently teaching English to kindergarteners and elementary students.

John’s partner in crime, Marisa, is also teaching English in Taiwan and appears in the last photo above.
